Kristy North Peigan is from the Piikani First Nation and an artist, designer and cosplayer  in Mohkinstsis (Calgary, AB.) A graduate of the Alberta University of the Arts with a Bachelor of Visual Communications Design degree in Illustration. She uses Indigenous teachings and subject matter to portray a modern view of Indigenous voices in art and cosplay.
