AccessAbility Book List
May 26– June 1, 2024 is National AccessAbility Week (NAAW). NAAW celebrates and highlights the important initiatives aimed at creating an Accessible Canada. Read Alberta recognizes that not everyone reads the same way, and traditional print books can pose a barrier for some readers. We strongly believe that everyone deserves access to great stories and learning resources.
Earlier this year, the Accessible Alberta: eBooks for Everyone Collection was launched, which features over 800 accessible eBooks and audiobooks published in Alberta. A selection of these titles are featured below. Titles in the collection are available in a range of genres, subjects, and reading levels. There is a book for every type of reader, and the collection will continue to grow with new titles added quarterly!
