Alberta Book Publishing: 2025 Year in Review

Can you believe it is December already? This year has flown by in a flurry of productivity and industry accomplishments! Every year we ask ourselves: how do book publishers do it? The only plausible answer is secret super powers.

In 2025, in addition to publishing lots of new and exciting titles, Alberta book publishers aided our province’s educators and classrooms with curriculum resources, shared Alberta’s Story internationally at the Frankfurt Book Fair, and have been recognized across the country with book awards.

As 2025 becomes a memory and we set our calendars to 2026, let’s take a look back at all the amazing moments from publishers this year. See some of the highlights from 2025 below!
